Jonathan began recoding his own music at the age of ten with a Realistic portable cassette recorder and an old snare drum. Since then, he has learned to utilize a wide variety of other, more expensive recording technology and applied his skills to dozens of albums in the past eight years. Jonathan has worked in just about every professional multitrack recording format, both analog and digital. He is just as comfortable recording and producing in a large, multi-room recording facility as he is in an artist's home studio.

Jonathan loves every aspect of the recording process and believes that the producer and engineer are at their best when fully realizing and facilitating the artists' vision for their music. It is because of this philosophy that Jonathan does not feel the need to be rooted to any one particular technique or style of recording. Every project is a new adventure for Jonathan.
